Shows Closing in the Myrtle Beach Area

WonderettesThe Marvelous Wonderettes and Dino’s TV Variety Show, two well-loved theater shows that have been performing throughout the Grand Strand area and recently at The Grand Theatre in Surfside Beach, have announced today that they will not be continuing into the 2013 theater show lineup.

The Marvelous Wonderettes is ending its second season and the long running Dino’s TV Variety Show has been performing for over 8 years. In its first year, The Marvelous Wonderettes was the number one rated show in Myrtle Beach on Trip Advisor, and Dino’s has received numerous awards and positive recognition over the years.

“We’ve had a good run on both of these shows and we’re proud of the quality, intimacy and uniqueness in entertainment that we’ve added to the Myrtle Beach area,” stated Cindra Marshall, co-producer of both productions along with her husband, Hank Marshall. “We will still be available for corporate events and you never know what the future holds, but we feel that we have accomplished what we set out to do.”

For those that want to still experience the shows, there are two chances before the season ends: The Marvelous Wonderettes – an off-Broadway musical hit that features 4 girls at their 1958 high school prom- will be presented on Tuesday, 12/11 and Thursday, 12/20, both at 7pm. Dino’s TV Christmas Special- An Original Dean Martin Tribute- has shows on Thursday, 12/13 and Tuesday, 12/18, also at 7pm. An in-theatre dinner is offered before all shows. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 843-808-9188
