Last year, Grand Strand professional networking group Hands-On Networking Myrtle Beach (HONMB) started as an informal gathering of a few individuals and quickly grew to 85+ unofficial members. It was comprised of local business owners and local business experts wanting to connect with one another in-person and via various social media platforms.
The group met in various venues until they found their present home at Fresh Brewed Coffee House which is located at 933 Broadway Street in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach. Due to the group’s rapid growth, HONMB is re-organizing with a new Board of Directors and filing for non-profit 501c3 status as well as re-launching with a Fall Membership Drive and a full 2012-2013 event schedule.
Join Hands-On Networking Myrtle Beach for the Fall Membership Launch Party on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Liberty Tap Room, located at 7651 N. The mission of Hands-On Networking Myrtle Beach (HONMB) is to foster social media growth and engagement amongst local professionals and business owners and to connect via various social media platforms. HONMB offers members social media education, support, advice, and guidance by online engagement in an encouraging and positive way, all while striving to keep economic activity as local as possible to benefit its members and online community.
The upcoming 2012-2013 HONMB Monthly Member Meetings bring all members together for relationship building and networking while focusing on increasing social media engagement amongst members. Meetings start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. and are held on the first Wednesday of the following months: September, October, November, January, February, March, and April.
