Our pick 3 events include theater, bog and fashion. As usual in the Grand Strand, there is so much to do this weekend. Besides our picks, check out the calender which includes the mini marathon, the music of John Williams with the Long Bay Symphony and the Beer Fest at Market Common.
Friday: “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” at Atlantic Stage beginning at 7:30 pm
Myrtle Beach’s only professional, not-for-profit theatre company presents a play that honors the original, but gives a more complex interpretation of the dual nature of the man. A dark and disturbing story liberally peppered with humor. I loved it on Broadway and am looking forward to this interpretation.
Saturday: The 35th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival at Downtown Loris from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Over 200 craft, retail and food vendors, 35,000 plus in attendance. Chicken Bog Cooking Contest, live music, fireworks, Free concert by National Country Artist David Fanning, car & tractor show and much more. Free to the public. A lot of fun and food for the entire family.
