Caring In Our Lifetime is the local organization to help those dealing with breast cancer in Horry and Georgetown counties. They have many area events scheduled for October with all funds raised to benefit local residents with their medical bills related to breast cancer. Pink Heals Tour: During the month of October, Fire-Rescue personnel are joining firefighters nationwide in raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer. On-duty fire personnel are showing their commitment to the cause by wearing pink t-shirts with the department’s logo on it throughout the month of October.

The American Cancer Society, Barefoot Landing, and the Flying Fish Public Market & Grill invite you to “FLOCK THIS WAY”. They plan on putting this October in the Pink! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Barefoot Landing has made plans to “PINK OUT”!
Brides Against Breast Cancer is a national nonprofit organization that travels to 70 cities annually on the original Nationwide Tour of Gowns Sale. Proceeds from the gown sales go to help those impacted by cancer, their family members and caregivers. They will be in Myrtle Beach on October 20th and 21st at the Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa at the Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach.
The Third Annual “BRAS ACROSS THE WATER” Charity Event for the American Cancer Society takes place on Thursday, October 25th at The BOATHOUSE Waterway Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach. Presented by Freedom Boat Club and Cumulus Media, this year’s event promises to be the biggest ever with vendors and live music both inside and outside the BOATHOUSE. The event starts at 5pm til 8pm for vendors and will continue with music and more throughout the evening.
