Taste of the Coast, the city’s must-do event for food lovers, returns to the House of Blues in Barefoot Landing on April 29 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Taste of the Coast is a family-friendly, culinary event held by Risen Christ Christian Academy.
This year, Taste of the Coast proudly celebrates its 10th year of featuring tasty specialties by the Grand Strand’s finest local restaurants in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Live, local entertainment will be provided throughout the day along with exciting kid activities.
The Character Company is sponsoring this year’s “Kids Zone” which will include special character appearances with photo opportunities, face painting, balloon twisting, a “Super Hero Academy”, contests, prizes & more!
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of Taste of the Coast,” says Event Coordinator, Leslie Kuznik. “Over the years, this event has become a spring tradition for family and friends to gather together and indulge in tastings from a wide variety of the best local restaurants while enjoying live music and entertainment, along with lots of fun activities for the kids,” says Kuznik.
Admission is $5 day of the event or $3 if purchased in advance and is a family affordable fun thing to do in North Myrtle Beach. Admission for kids 12 and under is FREE. Food and activity tickets are $1 each.
Risen Christ Christian Academy has been a member of the community since its founding in 1976 and is a member of the largest protestant, parochial school system in the United States. A number of successful local businessmen and women have either attended the school or enrolled their children in its excellent academic programs. Taste of the Coast and other school fundraising events help to insure the quality of a Christian based education that Risen Christ Christian Academy has been known for since its inception. This event will bring community awareness and recognition to all participants and attendees.
