There will be lots of partying going on this weekend in Myrtle Beach.  The shaggers are back along with the Horry County fair coming to town. No one can be bored this weekend! Check out the calendar for even more family affordable, fun things to do in Myrtle Beach.


SOS Spring Safari 2016 begins the 10 day fun experience on Friday on the streets at North Myrtle Beach and surrounding clubs.  Many  popular bands show up along Main Street playing crowd favorites along with other activities planned for the biggest adult party in the East.

13th Annual Seacoast Artists Guild Spring Art Show and Sale on Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Seacoast Artists Gallery at 3032 Nevers Street, Myrtle Beach, in The Market Common.  Artwork will include paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and mixed media as well as fiber art, and 3 D by members of the Seacoast Artists Guild. All artwork on display in the show will be for sale to the public.  An awards reception, open to the public, will take place on Saturday, April 16th, from 4-6 pm.

Horry County Fair opens this weekend beginning on Friday at 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the Myrtle Beach Speedway. Parking is FREE on Speedway Grounds!  The gates open at the Amphitheater at 6:00pm for Trace Adkins live in concert. Saturday evening, the gates open at the Amphitheater at 6:00 pm for Mike Posner live in concert.

The Sleeping Beauty”  at the Beach Church Auditorium this weekend. Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre is bringing back the popular fairy tale classic “The Sleeping Beauty” to the Grand Strand. A dreamy kingdom full of dazzling fairies, a 16th birthday celebration, an evil fairy’s fury makes up the magical moments of this popular fairy tale for the whole family to enjoy. Art in the Park at Valor Park, Market Common from 10:00 – 4:00 on Saturday and Sunday.  This is the ultimate in buying local and meeting the artists.

NMB Rotary 1st Annual Shaggin’ on the Boulevard Dance Competition on Sunday from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Join North Myrtle Beach Rotary Club for our 1st Annual Shaggin’ on the Boulevard Dance Competition. Proceeds Benefit Alzheimer’s Research and Local Charities.

Beethoven, Blue Jeans & BBQ – A Party at Inlet Affairs, Murrells Inlet on Sunday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the Long Bay Symphony and the Long Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra.  Pulled pork BBQ, chicken bog, mac & cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, banana pudding and sweet tea.  Cash bar.  Legendary Dave O DJ & Dancing.
