Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist…it’s no wonder that Jay Leno is widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.”

Hello Dolly at Theatre of the Republic on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 3:00. Based on the Thorton Wilder’s 1938 farce “The Merchant of Yonkers”, America’s most beloved matchmaker Dolly Levi travels to Yonkers to find a partner for “half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder with his niece, his niece’s intended, and his two clerks in tow.

Whose Night Out Is It Anyway? Improv Comedy Show (18+) at Uptown Theatre Myrtle Beach Mall at 7:30 on Friday. In this audience-interactive improv comedy show we’ll take suggestions from the audience about life, relationships, work, Myrtle Beach and just about anything else you suggest and we’ll create an instant comedy show right before your eyes! Similar to the television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and for ages 18 and older … just in case we talk about sex and stuff.

If you want to bring the kids, come back on Saturday for Whose Beach is it Anyway.  Same place and time but more family friendly.

Grand Opening of the Character Company Party Place on Saturday at the Myrtle Beach Mall from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm. They are having a GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION with the Ribbon Cutting at 1:00 PM. During the event, each guest will have a chance to win over $3,000 in prizes. Ricky Mokel Comedy Show at the Alabama Theatre at  7:00 pm on Saturday. Ricky Mokel, featured comedian of ONE The Show, will perform a hilarious comedy show as only he can!  Now’s your chance to see Grant Turner, as Ricky Mokel, in an award-winning performance that lets Ricky be Ricky.

Myrtle Beach Speedway Summer Concert Series featuring Rick Springfield, The Romantics & Night Ranger LIVE! from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm on Saturday.  Gates open at 6:30pm and Concert starts 8:00pm.

Movie in the Park: Little River @ 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm showing Inside Out. There’s nothing better than Little River, SC in the summer – except free movies in Little River in the summer! Pack a picnic, bring a chair or blanket to sit on, invite your friends and family to enjoy a free movie outdoors. Concessions will be available. Free for all ages. Held the last Saturday of the month May through September around sun down.

The Charlestones in Myrtle Beach at Trinity Myrtle Beach, 3000 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach on Sunday from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Charleston’s premier a cappella quartet hits the road, bringing the harmony to Myrtle Beach for the first time! Formed in 2014 and consisting of bass Todd Monsell, tenor Brink Norton, lead William Purcell, and baritone Stephen Spaulding, the Charlestones have been praised by audiences for their tight vocal blend, lush harmonies and top-notch musicianship.
