What’s Happening This Weekend: 3/3-3/5

What a busy weekend in Myrtle Beach! Whether you are a sports fan, art lover or food lover, this is the weekend for you with no lack of things to do!  The Myrtle Beach Marathon starts today with a family fun run Friday night and the big event on Saturday. There is also a Robotics competition, soccer and gymnastics competition. 

 

First Friday Artwalks.  Come out for the inaugural event! For those of you that are longing for more culture, check out what is happening downtown Myrtle Beach! This Friday, March 3rd, will be the first of monthly https://www.viagrasansordonnancefr.com/viagra-france/ First Friday Art Walks in Downtown Myrtle Beach from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  The monthly event will highlight creativity and culture in the community.

Veterans Event Fundraiser   at Burger Fi, Sayrebrook Plaza on Friday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

ACC Women’s Tournament is also in town this weekend. Check the schedule to see the events help at the HTC Center at CCU running this weekend.

Princess Gala to Benefit Red Cross 2017 on Saturday from 8:30 am – 11:30 am at Travinia Italian Kitchen, Market Common.  Dress like a princess and enjoy a feast to benefit a great cause.

Grand Strand Kids Fest & Summer Camp Fair on Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the X Sports Gym. FREE event filled with vendors sharing information about health & wellness, child care, special needs, summer camps, and other important family-related topics. Free activities include bounce houses, face painting, demos, balloon art, character meet & greets, activity zones, and more!
The Long Bay Symphony: From Classic to Modern at Myrtle Beach High School at 4:00 pm.

Local Theater

Priscilla Queen of the Desert Musical on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm at the Theatre of the Republic. This non stop on stage party features a hit parade of dance floor favorites including “It’s Raining Men, I Will Survive, Hot Stuff, Finally, Boogie Wonderland, Go West, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and I Love The Nightlife, this wildly fresh and funny musical is a journey to the heart of FABULOUS!

Whose Beach Is It Anyway? Improv Comedy Show (All Ages) on Friday night  (audience-interactive improv comedy show) and  Menage-A-Prov Improv Comedy Show (18+) on Saturday night. Both show begin at 7:30 pm at Uptown Theatre in the Myrtle Beach Mall. Saturday night is a  three-person long form improv comedy, the players will take your suggestions about life and love and create a show about your triumphs and tribulations. It’s a three-some, so expect it to be a little naughty (never nasty).
