This year, Easter falls on April 16th and we have several days and places to hunt Easter eggs and celebrating family affordable fun things to do in the Myrtle Beach area. Since eating with the Bunny is always popular, be sure to make your reservations early.
Lunch with the Easter Bunny at HCPR North Strand Rec Center on April 8th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Hop onto lunch for ages 4-12 and enjoy lunch and special treats followed by an egg scramble. Cost is $5 and registration is required by March 24th. Call 843-915-5331.

Easter Egg Hunt at Coastal Town Center on April 1st from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.A free, fun event for the whole family. Children ages 1-10 can hunt for Easter eggs in three age-related hunts.Visit with the Easter Bunny, Baby Chicks Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Games and Prizes, Bounce Houses.
For the 34th year, the Easter Bunny will make a special visit to McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach on Saturday, April 15, to hand out candy to all the children that attend. The egg hunt begins at 10:00 am sharp, and other activities between 10 a.m. and noon. Wear your Easter best to have your picture made with Ms. Blossom. Egg hunt areas are divided by age groups (infant and above) and there are many other activities for all ages. The North Strand Optimist Club will provide refreshments.
Aloha Mini Golf will host the first ever Egg Hunt. Starting promptly at 12:00 pm on the 15th, the course will hold the Egg Hunt where children ages 12 and under search for eggs filled with candy, toys, prizes, and of courses the GOLDEN EGG worth $100.00.
Easter Bunny Eggstravaganza at the Children’s Museum — Hop on down the bunny trail to the Children’s Museum of South Carolina for an EGG-stra special event this April 14th from 9-5! Bring your camera and snap a picture with the Easter Bunny, participate in our famous museum-wide egg hunt, and enjoy Easter-themed arts and science crafts and activities! Free with regular museum admission ($8 per person ages 2 and up, free for members).
Broadway at the Beach
Rockin’ with the Easter Bunny at Hard Rock Café Myrtle Beach on April 15th from 9:00 am – 10:30 am. A delicious hot breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fried potatoes, french toast sticks, grits, biscuits and gravy, coffee and orange juice. Easter Egg Plunge at the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, 971 Canal Street on Friday, April 14. The free family event is for children, ages three to 12. Activities begin at 1:00 p.m. for small children, ages three and four. Parents must be in the water for small children to participate. The fun continues at 1:30 p.m. for children, ages five to 12. The afternoon event includes a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, diving for eggs in the pool and playing games, along with candy and prizes. Registration is required by Thursday, April 13. There are four opportunities to have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast starts at 9:00 am, and you will need to call the restaurant to make reservations. Cost is $10 per person (complimentary for ages 3 and under) and includes a hot meal, coffee, soft drinks, juice or milk. Tax and gratuity are not included.

The 5th annual Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch with the Easter Bunny at Thompson Farm will be held on April 8th. Brunch includes baked ham, bacon, grits, cheddar biscuits, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and milk. An Easter Egg Hunt will follow brunch with more than 10,000 eggs hidden throughout the farm. Eggs will be stuffed with candy and prizes and each child is guaranteed an egg. One Golden Egg will be hidden for a special prize. Children will be divided into groups during the hunt. The cost is $19 for ages 14 and up; $17 for ages 9 to 13; $12 for ages 3 to 8 and free for ages 2 and under; the egg hunt and farm fun for $9/person.
