Hurricane Sandy Alert: Changes in Activities for October 27

Due to the anticipated coming of “Sandy”, many outdoor activities for tomorrow are being cancelled and/or rescheduled.  We will update as we find out more.  Here is the list for now.

Barefoot Landing has decided to move their Halloween Costume Contests and Fun Day from Saturday, October 27 to Sunday, Oct. 28 due to the threat of inclement weather.  Registration begins at noon in the Lakeview Courtyard, kids’ contest to start at 1:00 p.m. and pets’ contest to follow immediately after.

The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce announced today Friday that it has decided to cancel its annual Endless Summer Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 27th on Main Street in NMB, but the entertainment  is being moved to the OD Pavilion on Ocean Boulevard.

Howl-O-Scream, originally scheduled for October 27 at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach, has been moved to October 31, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., in McLean Park.

Brew at the Zoo event from Brookgreen Gardens has been moved to Sunday, October 28  from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Annual Walk for the Animals scheduled for tomorrow at Broadway at the Beach is rescheduled for SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11th. Registration starts at 1pm and the actual walk at 2pm. Any questions please email  AmyDupre@sc.rr.com.
