It’s that time again. House of Blues Myrtle Beach is hosting an annual charity event to raise funds for the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society this Saturday October 17th from 4pm-8pm.
Dogtoberfest features dogs available for adoption, a silent auction and raffle all to benefit the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society. There will also be live music and a pet costume contest with a $5 entry fee going directly to the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society. The best dressed pet will receive a $25 House of Blues gift card.
While there, don’t forget to take a picture of your pet in costume and submit it to the Cute Pet Costume contest for a chance to win $50 to Angelo’s Steak and Pasta.
The event is open to the public and will take place on The Deck at House of Blues. There will be happy hour drink specials available and for this event and we welcome dogs to join their owners on The Deck. (We heard they will be IDing the dogs to make sure they are over 21).
Craft beers will also be available for $4.50 all night and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be sampling Tito’s Dog Punch for a donation to the shelter. Entertainment includes an acoustic set by Brian Roessler from 4-6pm and Chocolate Chip and Company Band from 7-11pm.
“We are excited to host this great event as one of two annual events to benefit the Humane Society that we have on The Deck each year. They are always fun and we get to help out one of our favorite local charities.” said Dawn Temples Knopff Marketing and Promotions Manager for House of Blues Myrtle Beach. “We want to raise money but it’s also just as rewarding to see these pups going to forever homes.” Ahh, we agree.
