The Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach is saying goodbye to the pyramid but hello to its new spot at Broadway at the Beach (BATB). Their new location, just a stones through away, has a very different feel: it’s raw but polished. Think gospel meets country; and everything in between.
The new Hard Rock Cafe is about 15,000 sq. ft. and seats over 500 inside and out at the corner of celebrity square. It features an upstairs balcony, perfect for viewing fireworks and anything else going on at BATB. The interior is painted in black, blue, taupe and red and
the centerpiece above the bar is a series of curved pipes reminiscent of an organ and motorcycle exhaust. Besides the architecture, it includes updated memorabilia with a fresher look including clothing from Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Only two pieces from the pyramid are making it over (Guns and Roses drum set and a Vespa from the movie Quadrophenia) with the rest going back to headquarters in Orlando.
