Happy Spring! Spring means festivals on the Grand Strand and this weekend is no exception. If you are looking for music or theater, we also have some good picks for you this weekend.  Check out our calendar or entertainment tab above for even more things to do in the Myrtle Beach area.

Seacoast Artists Gallery “Welcome to Spring” Open House on Friday night from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.Looking to welcome spring into your home? How about using local artists? Just in time, Seacoast Artists Guild, 3032 Nevers Street in The Market Common, will hold an open house on Friday March 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm to welcome Spring back to Myrtle Beach! You can meet local artists, browse their works and enjoy wine, soda and light hors d’oeuvres.

CCU Alumni Boots and Bronze Reverse Raffle   on Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The event will allow fellow alumni to reconnect while enjoying a southern barbecue buffet and craft beer tasting. There will be live music by Southern Blue. A silent auction and reverse raffle will take place. Sponsored by the Coastal Carolina University Alumni Association. Proceeds will support the CCU Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Myrtle Beach Highland Games on Friday night from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Market Common (A Céilídh (‘kay-lee’ or community welcome party) free.

The Highland Games & Heritage Festival at Market Common on Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with sanctioned games, live performances and much, more more.

Ocean Bay Middle Spring Festival on Saturday from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. 2nd Annual Day at the Bay Spring Festival with TONS of exciting Carnival Games, Inflatables, Rock Climbing Wall, Cake Walk, Basket Raffles, 50/50, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Camel Rides, Face Painting, Train Rides, Dunk Tank, Local Businesses, Exciting Entertainment, Food/Drinks, and much more!!

Charlie Daniels Band at the Calvin Gilmore Theatre on Sunday beginning at 6:00 pm.

Random Acts of Improv Comedy Show (18+)  on Friday at 7:30 pm is a fast paced slow with two acts and Who’s Night Out is it Anyway? (18+) on Saturday at 7:30 pm. In this audience-interactive improv comedy show we’ll take suggestions from the audience about life, relationships, work, Myrtle Beach and just about anything else you suggest and we’ll create an instant comedy show right before your eyes!

The Subject was Roses on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm at Atlantic Stage, Myrtle Beach Mall. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize,  several Tony Awards and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award.

Outside Mullingar on Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 pm at Stage Left Theatre.
