Fresh Brewed Coffee: November Artist of the Month: Natalie Sexton

The November Artist of the Month is Natalie Sexton. Her opening reception is Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fresh Brewed Coffee House, which is located at 933 Broadway Street in heart of downtown Myrtle Beach. There is a suggested donation of $5 for admission.

Natalie Sexton was born in Greenville, South Carolina and transplanted to Myrtle Beach when she was three years old. Natalie is a self-taught artist and photographer, and her work is diverse and dramatic. She enjoys an array of subject matter and mediums, including acrylic, collage, photography, and jewelry. Natalie’s art and jewelry have been displayed in many galleries as well as local businesses.

After ten years of painting in her spare time while working as an announcer and DJ at several local radio stations, Natalie decided to make a career move into photography. In 2012, Natalie started her own business, Flying Pig Creative Studio, to encompass her many talents from art to singing, designing, event planning and even commercial copy and voice over.
