Bio: I’m originally from Wilmington, Delaware. In 1996, I moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I attended Coastal Carolina University where I studied Marine Science and Nutrition. A lover of drawing and painting since childhood, it wasn’t until a few years ago that I decided to pursue art.

I credit my inspiration and motivation to my many artist friends along the Grand Strand. One day I decided to pick up a brush and join in, and I’ve been painting ever since. I love to paint anything from wildlife to fantasy-like pieces. Whatever I feel moved by during that particular session is what I will paint.

I feel truly blessed to have come to this point, and I hope to keep going for I have found in art a true happiness.

Beginning January 2012, a local Horry/Georgetown County visual artist is featured each month. Artist of the Month exhibitions start with an opening reception, which is held on the first Saturday of every month from 4pm-7pm. After the opening reception, the artist’s work remains on display at Fresh Brewed Coffee House for the month.
