Yum!
It is still blazing hot in Myrtle Beach but it’s not too early to think about the fall and festivals! We attended some really great ones last year but one of our favorites was the Shrimp and Jazz Festival. Why? Because it had shrimp and music! Do you need any more for a fun Saturday and Sunday afternoon!

2011 festival
This year they are coming back bigger and better and renamed the festival Shrimpfest 2012. It is slated for October 13-14 under the live oaks on the historic Little River waterfront and are featuring live entertainment, vendors, activities for the kids and of course, fresh shrimp and seafood specialties.
If you would like to be part of it, the Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is accepting applications for vendors for ShrimpFest 2012. Vendors are classified as Community Organizations, Arts & Crafts, Business and Food. Please click on the link below to download your application today. If you have any questions or need additional information please contact the chamber at 866-817-8082 or e-mail info@littleriverchamber.org.
There is also a planning meeting this Tuesday night and we will bring you more information. But we can’t tell all. You will just have to attend the festival to experience the fun!
