fresh fruitIt’s the time of the year for fresh from the farm produce! Many of the restaurants get it fresh all year round, but for most of us this is the time of year we look forward to.

 

 

Little River:

Little River Farmers Market* is located at 4460 Mineola Ave. on Wednesdays  from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
North Myrtle Beach:

The North Myrtle Beach Farmers Market* is already open and is located on 1st. Ave. North between the Library & NMB City Hall.  It will feature:

  • Baked Goods
  • Local Fruits & Vegetables
  • Flowers
  • Seafood
  • Artisan Crafts
  • Jellies
  • Jams

Carolina Forest:

Carolina Forest Farmers Market* is at the Rec Center, 2254 Carolina Forest Blvd on Thursdays from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Market Common:

DeVille Street Farmer’s Market* will host the Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on Deville Street beginning on June 4th until September 24th and will feature:

  •  Locally grown produce
  • Baked goods
  • Handmade items

Myrtle Beach:

Myrtle’s Market, located on Mr. Joe White Avenue at Oak Street, is open April 15th to October 29th  from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.  This is also an activities area for the kids and they feature:

  •  Handmade crafts
  •  Local honey
  • Homemade desserts

Conway:

Conway Farmer’s Market* on 217 Laurel Street will be open from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm every Saturday in season. They will feature:

  • Baked Goods
  • Local Fruits & Vegetables
  • Flowers
  • Seafood
  • Artisan Crafts
  • Jellies
  • Jams
CCU Farmers Market* is located at Prince Lawn and is open Tuesdays from  10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Surfside Beach:

Surfside Beach Farmers Market* is on the Corner of Surfside Beach & Willow Drive North Surfside Beach. In-season they are open Tuesdays from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, featuring:

  • Baked Goods
  • Local Fruits & Vegetables
  • Flowers
  • Seafood
  • Artisan Crafts
  • Jellies
  • Jams

Murrells Inlet:

Lee’s Farmers Market on 4883 US 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet is an indoor market that.  They are open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and offer:

  • Local produce
  • Dairy
  • Soaps
  • Jams
  • Nuts
  • Meats
  • Pasta
  • Produce

All of the markets noted with a * above are part of the Waccamaw Market Cooperative (WMC), which is an incorporated 501c nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating and managing community based farmer’s market throughout Horry County. Under the guidance of the Clemson Cooperative Extension, WMC has grown to include regional network of markets sponsored in partnership with public and private organizations throughout the region. The resulting structured market network ensures that virtually all communities in Horry County benefit from access to fresh fruits and vegetables that farmer’s markets offer.
