Grand Strand Happening this Weekend: Sept. 28 – 30, 2012

Happy Fall!  The weather is starting to change a little although it is still warm enough to enjoy the beach.  But, there are plenty of festivals and fun fall activities. Please check the calendar for more activities.

 

Festivals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

St. John’s Greek Festival: Enjoy food, vendors, kids activities celebrating Greek heritage

Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival: The Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival features more than 100 fine artisans. The festival provides aesthetic beauty against a background of natural beauty. Enjoy fine art, quality crafts, Lowcountry food, and the area’s finest musicians.

Oktoberfest at Market Common: Festival Promotions presents the 5th Annual Oktoberfest sponsored by Piggly Wiggly at the Market Common in Valor Park. Oktoberfest will feature live German music, children’s activities, pumpkin patch for kids, inflatables, face painting, German food, and a large selection of German & Oktoberfest beer.

Margaritaville Coast is Clear: Backyard BBQ and locals party celebrating the end of summer.  Games and drink specials.

Friday:

Barbecue Fundraiser for Jacobs Angels: BARBEQUE FUNDRAISER AT IGNITE CHURCH, 4808 NORTH KINGS HIGHWAY.  MEALS WILL BE PRE-SOLD FOR $5 EACH AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP THAT DAY (LUNCH 11-1, AND DINNER 4-6).

Saturday:
