Have you heard that you can view what’s happening at Broadway at the Beach without actually going there? Our question is other than seeing how much traffic there is, why would you want to see other people having fun while you are sitting on your couch? There is so much to do there for everyone.
The cameras were launched about 2 weeks ago and can give anyone with an Internet connection a glimpse into what’s happening. The cameras are placed by Build-A-Bear Workshop, the zip line and facing Dragon’s Lair Bridge. We read in an article in The Sun News that the cameras were installed to give guests an inside look at Broadway at the Beach all the time, according to Melissa Armstrong, who does marketing for the shopping center. “We are simply offering our guests another opportunity to get up close and personal with Broadway at the Beach,” Armstrong said in an email to The Sun News.
Okay, we get that. But what about people who come to Myrtle Beach to vacation and enjoy some time away from everything else and don’t want to be seen? What about Susie who wants a night out with the girls and tells her boyfriend that she is staying in with a good book? On the other hand, maybe the Jones family from CA wants to wave hi to the family back home.
