The American Cancer Society, Barefoot Landing, and the Flying Fish Public Market & Grill invite you to “FLOCK THIS WAY”. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Barefoot Landing has made plans to “PINK OUT”!
The festivities begin on October 5 and go until October 13 with Barefoot Landing merchants showing their pink. Many businesses will be displaying their support by offering specials and of course PINK will be everywhere!
October 6 – October 12, “Pink Your Flamingo” art created by local artists (and amateurs) will be on display at Flying Fish. All patrons are invited to vote for their favorite flamingo. Vote casting will be available at the Welcome Center. There will be an adult vote and a kid’s vote so every person in the entire family’s vote matters! The top 5 Flamingos from the voting will then proceed to the final “Celebrity Judging” to be held at the Flying Fish on October 13 to determine the winner. All flamingos will then be available for donation at a live auction following the 3rd Annual Flock Walk.

Always enjoy playing for the Flock Walk. This year we (Hubbell Entertainment) bid on and took home “Flauncey” flamingo designed by the students at CCU. “Flauncey” travels with us to every CCU and cancer related event now.
